New management structure for Alberta’s Dunlop Truck Centres

Company remains focused on providing superior customer service

Dunlop Truck Centres is pleased to announce the following restructure of its management team at both Alberta Western Star dealerships:

Jordan Slomp is the new General Manager of Dunlop’s Lethbridge location. Born and raised in Lethbridge, Slomp brings with him over 16 years of experience in the automotive and heavy truck industry.

“It is an exciting time here and in the trucking industry,” said Slomp. “I am thrilled to join the Dunlop team and not only help grow the dealership but promote the Western Star product in Southern Alberta as well. The commitment from Dunlop to the trucking industry is second to none and I look forward to working with the team.”


Murray Mykytiw is taking on the role of General Manager of Medicine Hat. Mykytiw has spent the last 15 years in heavy truck and trailer sales at Dunlop Truck Centres – Lethbridge.

“I’m looking forward to my new role as GM of the Medicine Hat branch,” said Mykytiw. “It’s a different city but our commitment to customer service is universal across all three dealerships so I’m confident it will be a smooth transition.”


Werner Schrage, who has been General Manager of Lethbridge since 1999, is retiring. Including the early days of his career at Dunlop Ford, Schrage has been with the Dunlop group of companies for a total of 46 years. His commitment to ongoing education and a job well done has led him to be the recipient of the Engine Rebuilders Service Award and being recognized as a peak performer by the Society of Professional Service Manager.

The appointments signal a strong future for Canada’s second largest Western Star dealer.
