Dunlop Truck Centres appoints Kevin Quaife as Director of Service

April 1, 2019

Dunlop Truck Centres is pleased to announce that Kevin Quaife has been appointed to the position of Director of Service, effective April 1, 2019. All service and body shop managers will report directly to Quaife, who will also work closely with our branch managers.

Quaife brings considerable experience to this position. His career in the heavy truck industry began in 1994 as a shop helper after school and on Saturdays at Dunlop Truck Centres in Cranbrook (at the time known as Rocky Mountain Diesel Ltd.) In 1996, he was selected to attend the first pilot class for what is now known as the ACE IT program for trades apprenticeships at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook.

Quaife continued working at Dunlop Truck Centres in Cranbrook throughout his apprenticeship and received his certification as a heavy-duty technician in 2001. From there, Quaife worked as a journeyman technician, which led to the opportunity of becoming the Shop Foreman. A few years later, he was promoted to Service Manager.

“I am pleased to have been offered the opportunity to operate as Director of Service for our three locations,” said Quaife. “I look forward to taking on this position and helping the company to continue in its growth and success.”

He will retain his current position of Service Manager in Cranbrook until deemed necessary for both Quaife and Dunlop Truck Centres to make a change.

“I am very excited for Kevin to continue his interaction, assistance and leadership with the service teams as we grow our services and offerings to our customers,” said Chris Thom, President, Dunlop Truck Centres.
